The Day

Cosy Bike & Hike  2025 was a tremendous success, filled with camaraderie, challenge, and charitable spirit. The Bike participants pedalled their way through a well-organised route with various stops and support services, making the day memorable for everyone involved. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over £90,000 for two incredible Derbyshire children's charities!

Check Points
Volunteers manned all checkpoints, capturing rider numbers to keep track of progress. The checkpoints were located at:

1. Derby Arena - Pride Park Derby Start (DE24 8JB)
2. Bottesford (40 miles)
3. Lunch Stop - Wellingore Memorial Hall (60 miles)
4. Woodlands Café - Woodhall Spa (80 miles)
5. DCHC Skegness Finish (107 miles)

The Finish
The event concluded at The Derbyshire Holiday Home Centre, where participants received a warm welcome, their commemorative cycle shirt, an opportunity to refuel then topped off with a party to celebrate the event.

Looking Forward to 2026
As we gear up for the 2026 ride, we are excited to build on the success of this year's event. Here's what to look forward to:

- Enhanced Support: We will continue to provide a mobile bike mechanic for on-the-go assistance and ensure food stops are well-stocked and strategically placed.
- Reviewed Feedback: We have carefully reviewed all the feedback we received and will be implementing many suggestions to improve the experience for everyone.
- Engaging Charities: We will continue to support the two incredible Derbyshire children's charities that benefitted this year.
- More Riders: We are building on the success of previous years and are planning a bigger event with more participants to raise more money than ever for our chosen charities!
